Marketing has been Matt’s livelihood since 2001.
Matt LaClear began earning his living as a direct-response copywriter in 2001. From 2001 through roughly 2009, direct-response copywriting and commercial email campaigns were a major part of his work.
Those early years were an education in one fundamental question:
What makes someone take action?
In 2009, his career expanded into SEO, agency sales, copywriting and business development. And that created a different kind of education.
It is one thing to learn how to sell something you created yourself. It is another to sit down with someone else’s business, understand what they sell, figure out what their customers care about, find the right message and help that business generate a response.
Matt has spent much of his career doing exactly that for businesses and agency clients.
He is also the author of multiple business books, including one that reached #2 bestseller status in its niche.
